Tawa pulao is a spicy recipe. It’s a simple and easy recipe. It hardly takes 20-25 mins to make.
Ingredients for Tawa Pulao:-
Butter :- 3-4 tbsp
Chopped onion:- 2 cup
Ginger – garlic paste:- 2 tbsp
Capsicum:- as per your choice
chopped tomatoes :- 1cup
Chopped coriander leaves
pulao masala :-1 tbsp
garam masala :-1 tbsp
Salt :- as per your taste
Chopped green chili:- 3
Boiled green peas:- 1 cup
Boiled potatoes:- 2-3
basmati rice:- 3-4 cup
Bay leaves:- 2
Kashmiri red chili powder:- 1 tbsp
How to make Tawa pulao:-
Let’s start to make our recipe. first, take basmati rice, boiled it on medium flame. also the 1 tbsp of ghee, a little bit of salt, 1 bay leaf, 5-6cloves. stir it for 2 min. let them cooked for 15-20 mins. don’t overcook. cook it 80 to 90% only.
Heat the pan on the gas. Melt 4 tbsp of butter in the Tawa. also, add finely chopped onion. Fry it for 5-6 min until the onions look golden. once the onion gets golden. add the 2 tbsp of ginger-garlic paste, 2 bay leaves and stir it for 1 min. Then add the chopped tomato cook it for 2mins. cook it for 5-6 mins. until the tomato becomes soft.
After that add the 2 tbsp of red chili powder, 1 tbsp of garam masala, salt as per your taste, chopped green chili mix all these ingredients well. Cook it till the until become soft.
Then add the boiled green peas and potatoes mix it very well.
add a little bit of water and mix it for 1 min.
then add the Boiled Basmati Rice and mix it very well.
Also, add chopped coriander leaves.
Cook it for 5-6 mins on medium flame. And here your Tawa pulao is ready to serve.
