Ingredients for chicken Biryani
basmati rice:-2 cup
curd:- 1 cup
Oil:- 3 tbsp
Cinnamon stick:- 1
Star anise:- 1
Onion:- 1 cup
ginger-garlic paste:- 2 tbsp
Chili powder :- 1tbsp
Coriander powder:- 1tbsp
Garam masala:- 1 tbsp
Salt:- as per your taste
Turmeric powder:- 1 tbsp
How to make Chicken Biryani
let’s start to make Chicken biryani, first take the fresh chicken in a bowl. wash it well. then add 1 cup of curd, 1 tbsp of turmeric powder, 1 tbsp of lemon juice, 2 tbsp of red chili powder, 1 tbsp cumin powder. Also, add a little bit of salt. mix it well. and keep it aside for 1 hrs.
Then take 2 cup of basmati rice. Wash it for 2-3 times then add the 3 cups of water in one bowl. Keep it aside for 30 mins.
After that, heat the pan on medium flame. Add the 3 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp of ghee. Once the oil and ghee get heated, add the Cinnamon stick, star anise, cloves, cardamom, 2-3 Bay leaf and 1 cup chopped Sliced onion. Saute all these ingredients well.
Add the chopped green chili and 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste. Stir it well until the onions turn little golden. Then add the chopped tomato and mint leaves. Mix it well.
Once the onion gets golden, add the marinate chicken. mix it well. Then add the 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tbsp Coriander powder, 1/2 Garam masala, Turmeric powder then add the salt as per your taste. saute it well. Then add the 2 cups of water. and mix it well.
Also, then cook the soaked basmati rice. Cook for in pan or cooker on medium flame. make sure that the rice is 90% cooked or not. Mix it well.
Then take another bowl or kadhai. add 1st layer of chicken gravy. then cooked rice, then again some chicken. mix it well.
here your yummy basmati rice is ready.
