Plain flour (Maida):- 1 cup
Powder sugar:- 1/2 cup
Milk :- 4 cup
baking powder:-1 tbsp
Baking soda:-1 tbsp
cardmom powder:- 1/2 tbsp
How to make Malai cake
First, before making the batter for Malai cake. add some salt in a pressure cooker. Spread salt all over in a cooker. Then preheat the cooker for 10 mins on medium flame. Remove a whistle.
Here let’s start to make our yummy Malai cake. First, switch on the flame. take 4 cups of milk into a pan. then add 2 tbsp of milk powder. and 1/4 cup of condensed milk. Mix it well by hand blender or any spoon. then add 1/2 tbsp of cardamom powder and some saffron. and let them boil it. until it becomes a little thick. once it is ready keep it aside.
then take a bowl. Add 1/2 cup of powder sugar, 1 cup of maida, 1 tbsp of baking soda, 1 tbsp of baking powder. Mix all these dry ingredients well. then add 4 tbsp of oil, 4 tbsp of curd, and 1/2 cup of malai. And mix it well by spoon or hand blender in case if you have. here our batter is ready.
After that grease(add) some oil or butter to the mold. add this mixture/batter into a teen( cake mold). here our cake is ready to bake. then carefully add that cake mold in a cooker. cover it with lid, and let them bake for at least 45 min on medium flame.
After 30 mins. checked whether that cake is cooked or not. Once the Cake is cooked keep it aside for at least 1 hr.
then make some space in the cake by a fork . and add malai mixture. then add some dry fruits on top.
