basmati rice:-2 cup
curd:- 1 cup
Oil:- 3 tbsp
Cinnamon stick:- 1
Star anise:- 1
Onion:- 1 cup
ginger-garlic paste:- 2 tbsp
Chili powder :- 1tbsp
Coriander powder:- 1tbsp
turmeric powder:- 1 tbsp
black pepper powder:- 1 tbsp
Garam masala:- 1 tbsp
Salt:- as per your taste
How to make Paneer biryani
let’s start to make Paneer biryani, first take the Paneer in a bowl. cut it well in a cube shape. then add 1 cup of curd, 1 tbsp of turmeric powder,1 tbsp of black pepper powder, 2 tbsp of red chili powder, 1 tbsp cumin powder. some chopped coriander leaves. Also, add a little bit of salt. mix it well. then add cut cubes. and keep it aside for 1 hrs.
Then take 2 cups of basmati rice. Wash it for 2-3 times then add the 3 cups of water in one bowl. 1 tbsp of oil and a little bit of salt. let them boil.
Cook for in pan or cooker on medium flame. make sure that the rice is 90% cooked or not. Mix it well.
After that, heat the pan on medium flame. Add the 3 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp of ghee. Once the oil and ghee get heated, add 1/2 tbsp of cumin seeds. Cinnamon stick, star anise, cloves, cardamom, 2-3 Bay leaf, and 1 cup chopped Sliced onion. Saute all these ingredients well.
Add the chopped green chili and 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste. Stir it well until the onions turn little golden. Then add the 1 cup of chopped tomato and mint leaves. some 1/2 tbsp of crushed Kasuri methi.
Mix it well. then add the 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tbsp Coriander powder, 1/2 Garam masala, Turmeric powder then add the salt as per your taste. saute it well. Then add the 2 cups of water. and mix it well. then add 1 st layer of rice. then add marinated paneer. again add the layer of rice.
Then add some chopped coriander and some cashew. and add 1/2 cup of water on the side. and let them cook for 25 mins on low flame.
Here our Paneer biryani is ready to serve.
